Curriculum

His education is in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, and public health.  He has been a consultant to WHO, ILO, the World Bank and numerous US government agencies and non-governmental environmental organizations over the past 40 years.  He has long testified as an expert on the corporate history of asbestos at Congressional hearings and in US and Australian civil courts, and Italian criminal court.

His 900-page book on the public health history of asbestos describes and analyzes a prolonged corporate and societal failure to prevent preventable disease.  He has investigated the international transfer of chemical and asbestos hazards for the past 40 years, publishing reports on corporate failure to transfer protective measures along with hazardous industries expanded in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.   He works with people around the world on asbestos and chemical hazards to public health.
